We are Chenetha Chaitanya Vedika, (roughly translated from Telugu as “platform for revitalising of handloom). This platform consists of a few of people who had been working towards promotion of Khadi and Handloom fabrics for quite some time. And people who are not directly connected with the business of weaving or handloom marketing. We have kept this totally as a non-weaver initiative to ensure non-partisan promotion of weavers’ and weavers societies across India.

Dr. Sanghamitra Gadekar (Medical Doctor, worked extensively on promotion of Khadi from Vedchi,, Gujerat)

 

Ramakant Pathak (Retired Executive Director, Maharashtra State Electricity Board, practising and teaching Charkha spinning since 1996, from Aurangabad, Maharashtra).

 

Dr. Surendra Gadekar, (Physicist, Gandhian and Anti-nuclear activist, Vedchi Gujerat)
